André Monforte

André Monforte's work experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Amplemarket starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Defined.ai as a Data Scientist from February 2022 to March 2023, where they used Data Science and Machine Learning to improve annotation quality and speed on the online data labelling platform Neevo. André also accelerated client's delivery by researching and developing data processing and validation mechanisms. Before that, André worked as an R&D (ML) Intern at Defined.ai from November 2020 to January 2022, investigating the impact of vocal traits distribution on speech applications' performance and bias.

André also has experience at PwC Portugal, where they worked as a Consultant from July 2019 to September 2020, and as an Assistant from June 2018 to July 2019. André'sresponsibilities included GDPR compliance, client segmentation analysis, management and banking reporting solutions, and corporate reorganization. André also worked at Nervi Construction as a Business Developer from January 2018 to July 2018, developing the company's business plan and leading its application to SME Instrument | Horizon 2020.

André's early work experience includes roles at FEP Junior Consulting, where they served as President from April 2017 to April 2018, overseeing the financial and quality control area and supervising all company projects. André also worked as a Project Development Manager from January 2016 to April 2017, leading market research projects and coordinating international market prospecting for a Portuguese start-up. André began their career at FEP Junior Consulting as a Consultant from September 2015 to January 2016.

André Monforte pursued their education at FEP U. Porto – Economics and Management. From 2015 to 2018, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2021, they enrolled in the same institution and earned a Master's degree in Modeling, Data Analysis, and Decision Support Systems, specializing in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.
