Michael McMacken

Michael McMacken is currently a Senior Product Support Specialist at Amplemarket, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Senior Product Support Engineer at Proofpoint from November 2016 to November 2023, where responsibilities included supporting channel partners and customers for the Proofpoint Essentials Email Security Solution, particularly for small-to-medium-sized businesses, across EMEA and US business hours. Earlier experience includes bartending at Filthy McNastys and working as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Roe Park Resort, alongside a Graduate Internship at HSCNI. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Software Development from Ulster University and a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Dundee.
