Telmo Rodrigues

Telmo Rodrigues has a significant amount of work experience as a software engineer. Telmo began their career in 2009 as a Bolseiro de Apoio ao Ensino DEI at IST, where they taught practical classes on IT security. From 2009 to 2012, they also conducted research and wrote a master's dissertation on the development of an instant messaging channel for banking services.

In 2012, Telmo joined PT Comunicações, SAPO, where they worked on various projects, including desporto.sapo.pt and sapo.pt, contributing to their development from scratch. Telmo continued their software engineering career at PRIMEIT Consulting SA from July 2012 to January 2016, and at Link Consulting from September 2010 to July 2012. At Link Consulting, they actively participated in the development, design, and maintenance of an internet banking platform used by more than 20 financial institutions.

In 2016, Telmo joined 360imprimir as a Software Engineer, working on different projects involving the development and design of databases, search engines, web services, and architecture. From 2016 to 2020, they also worked at Bright Pixel SA as a Software Engineer, where they participated in the development and design of databases, search engines, web services, and software architecture for several projects and startups.

Most recently, starting in April 2020, Telmo is working as a Software Engineer at Amplemarket.

Telmo Rodrigues obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Distributed Systems and Software Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering at the same institution, from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Telmo Rodrigues has obtained several certifications. Telmo completed a course on Pattern Discovery in Data Mining and received a certificate from Coursera Verified Certificates in March 2015. In December 2014, they completed a course on Mining Massive Datasets from Stanford University through Coursera. Telmo Rodrigues also obtained a certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford University in May 2014, through Coursera. Telmo also completed a course on MongoDB for DBAs offered by MongoDB University in January 2014. Additionally, Telmo Rodrigues completed a course on Deep Dive Into PostgreSQL Indexes, offered by Percona University Online, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
