John Williams

CTO at Amplience

John Williams has a strong work history in the technology industry. John is currently a member of the technology council at MACH Alliance since June 2020. Prior to that, they were the CTO at Amplience from 2010. At Amplience, they focused on creating and distributing engaging commerce experiences across digital channels. Before Amplience, they worked as the CTO and Head of Technology at LBi from 2006 to 2010, where they played a key role in driving technology advancements. From 2004 to 2007, John was the CTO at Framfab, where they managed a team of architects and provided technical consultation to clients. Earlier in their career, they served as the Head of Engineering at ixl from 2000 to 2004 and also worked as a Lead Developer at Reuters from 1997 to 2000.

John Williams has a diverse education history. From 1993 to 1997, they attended Teesside University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Engineering with First Class Honors. John also pursued an additional Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in software engineering during the same period at Teesside University. Furthermore, from 2006 to 2008, John pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Imperial College London.
