Stuart Squires

Stuart Squires has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Stuart began their career as an Analyst Programmer at ALSTOM Power in 2000 and worked their way up to the position of SAP Data Migration Manager. During their time at ALSTOM Power, Stuart gained valuable experience in data migration strategies and led the successful migration of a large volume of data.

In 2004, Stuart joined Siemens PG IT as an SAP Technical Project Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating data migration and integrating various Siemens-specific financial solutions. Stuart also served as an IT Development Manager, overseeing IT project delivery and establishing a local Project Management Office.

Stuart's next role was at Xansa (Steria) as an Enterprise Data Management Consultant. Stuart provided advisory and delivery services to clients, working with individuals at all levels within organizations. Stuart continued to build on this role as a Senior Enterprise Data Management Consultant at Steria, where they focused on providing advisory and delivery services to clients in sectors such as retail, financial services, and government.

In 2012, Stuart joined BackOffice Associates as an SAP Data Migration Consultant, where they provided data migration consultancy and delivered technical SAP data migration solutions. Stuart also worked at Steria Group as the Head of Domain of Excellence - Data Management, where they provided data management advisory services to clients and was involved in new business development.

From 2014 to 2016, Stuart served as a Senior Manager - Data and Analytics at EY. In this role, they helped improve the quality of data on which decisions are based and built teams to design, implement, and audit organizations' data governance, management, and migration challenges.

In 2016, Stuart joined Comma Group, initially as the Chief Innovation Officer and later taking on the roles of Managing Director and Consulting Director. Comma Group provides expert advice, consulting, delivery, and support services to help businesses manage and optimize their data.

Most recently, Stuart became the SVP Strategy & Consulting at Amplifi in 2022.

Throughout their career, Stuart has demonstrated expertise in data management, migration, and governance, working with a variety of clients in different industries.

Stuart Squires has a strong educational background with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from The University of Manchester, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School from 1994 to 1996, focusing on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and General Studies. Stuart also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in IT & Management (SAP) from Sheffield Hallam University, which they completed in 2004.

In terms of secondary education, Stuart attended Longridge High School from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained their GCSEs. Stuart achieved excellent results, with 5A* and 4A grades.

Additionally, Stuart has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Stuart completed an Introduction to Data Science certification from the University of Washington (coursera) in June 2013. In April 2007, they obtained the Datanomic Data Quality Consultant certification from Datanomic. Stuart also holds the SAP Strategic Enterprise Management Solutions Consultant certification from SAP, which they earned in July 2004. Finally, they are certified as a Cransoft consultant by BackOffice Associates, although specific details about the date of obtaining this certification are unavailable.
