Samuel Davis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Samuel founded Amplified AI in February 2017 and has been serving as the Founder since then. Prior to that, they worked at Relayto as an APAC Advisor, starting in January 2017.
Before their time at Relayto, Samuel was the General Manager, APAC at Glocal Partners from July 2015 to December 2016. Samuel also held multiple positions at Landon IP, including Director of Business Development for Analytics and Technology Consulting Services from January 2015 to June 2015, Director of Business Development for East Asia from January 2014 to January 2015, Sales Manager for Japan and Korea from November 2010 to January 2014, and Marketing Manager for Japan from November 2010 to November 2011.
Additionally, Samuel had an internship at Canon, Inc. in June and July 2010.
Samuel Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and East Asian Studies from William & Mary, from 2006 to 2010. During their undergraduate years, they also studied Japanese at Keio University for a year, from 2007 to 2008. Before attending college, Samuel attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where they focused on computer science and machine learning, graduating in 2006.
In addition to their formal education, Samuel has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the Startup School Online program offered by Y Combinator. Samuel also completed a Machine Learning course through Coursera in January 2017.
Furthermore, Samuel has obtained several Coursera certificates. These include "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship" and "New Models of Business in Society," both earned in May 2015. In April 2015, they completed the "Coding the Matrix: Linear Algebra through Computer Science Applications" course. Additionally, they took the "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part II" course in May 2013 and the "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part I" course in March 2013. Samuel also completed the "An Introduction to Operations Management" course in November 2012 and the "Introduction to Finance" course in October 2012, both offered by Coursera.
