William Belden

William Belden is President of Amplify ETFs. With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Bill has served in roles covering Product, Marketing, and Sales across several investment vehicles. Prior to joining Amplify in 2018, Bill served as Head of ETF Business Development and earlier as Head of Product Development for Guggenheim Investments. In these roles, Bill was responsible for the development and execution of Guggenheim’s product strategy in funds.

Prior to its acquisition by Guggenheim, Bill developed Claymore Securities’ ETF product line. Prior to joining Claymore in 2005, he was a senior product manager at Northern Trust, where he was responsible for overseeing proprietary mutual fund products. Bill is regularly quoted in and has appeared on major financial media outlets. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University. He is Series 7, 24, and 66 registered.
