Mark Beards is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the biopharma and financial sectors. Currently serving as the Owner of Fountainhead Consulting Limited since January 2018, Mark specializes in strategic consulting for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, with notable projects including the global launch of an mRNA vaccine and leadership in various post-integration initiatives. Mark holds the position of Chairman at AMPLY Discovery and functions as an Expert in Biotechnology for GLG, contributing to corporate strategy and capital raising efforts. Previously, Mark served as CEO of Sutura Therapeutics and UTILITY therapeutics, focusing on RNA-targeted gene medicines and antibiotic resistance, respectively. Education credentials include a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, along with qualifications in management accounting and business management.
