Ander Gabirondo

Ander Gabirondo has a robust background in mechanical engineering and industrial technology, marked by significant roles at AMPO S.COOP and AMPO since 2017. At AMPO S.COOP, responsibilities included prototype development for compact high-pressure ball valves and designing test benches for high-pressure systems. In the current position as Innovation & Technology Manager at AMPO, focus areas include valve engineering, severe service application, and product-technology development related to high-pressure and high-temperature valves. Prior experience includes mechanical design internships at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, where Ander worked on valve components using SolidWorks and developed a sensorized shaft calculation tool using Excel and ANSYS. Ander holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, supplemented by a year of study at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
