Sam Piper is a seasoned professional in the field of mechanical and operational management with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Refinery Operator at Ampol since March 2024, Piper has previously held significant roles such as Construction Superintendent at Wood, and Mechanical Superintendent at Incitec Pivot Fertilisers. Additional experience includes positions as Turnaround Operational Readiness Superintendent and Turnaround Commissioning and Scheduling Lead at Incitec Pivot Limited, as well as various supervisory and coordination roles at UGL and other companies.
