Steven O'Connor

Steven O'Connor currently serves as the Regional Chief Financial Officer for Ampol, overseeing finance strategy and operations across Australia, Asia, and North America since 2022. Additionally, Steven is a member of the Board of Directors for SEAOIL Philippines, Inc., focusing on growth in the transport energy sector. Prior to these roles, Steven held various positions at BlueScope from 2013 to 2022, including Vice President of Sales and Chief Financial and Commercial Officer, where responsibilities included strategic planning and improving financial performance in the ASEAN region. Before BlueScope, Steven gained expertise in mergers and acquisitions at PwC from 2005 to 2013, advising on complex transactions for mid-market firms. Steven is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde.
