James Green is the DOT Admin at Ampol. James has previously worked as the CEO & Co-founder of Mojo Power, Chief Executive Officer of Hunter Energy, and at Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Pty Ltd.
James Green is an experienced energy industry executive. James is focused on building an energy supply portfolio in Eastern Australia that balances the need for base load power whilst transitioning to renewables. To achieve this, JamesGreen developed an Energy Park that generates power from a range of fuels such as tailings, coal, waste gas, biomass and renewable sources.
The first step in this process was the purchase of the Redbank Power Station, which is strategically located in the Hunter Valley. The site has the ability to host multiple generation plants on its 30 acres. This purchase was made with the intention of creating a sustainable model for the energy network as a whole.
Under James Green's leadership, the Energy Park has become a reality, and it is hoped that it will serve as a blueprint for other energy networks around the world.
James Green completed their Masters in Marketing from Monash University. James also holds an Associate Diploma of Applied Science from Kangan Institute of TAFE. Additionally, they have a Certification from the Australian Marketing Institute in Certified Practicing Marketer and another Certification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in Member Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
They work with and Heath Headley - Spill Response Director/Estimator. Their manager is Mike Watts, Equip/Asset/Remediation Project Manager.
