William G. Temple has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. In 2009, they were an intern at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, working at the Operations Control Center for NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory. In 2010, they were a student researcher at Cornell University, conducting award-winning Master's research on electric vehicles, wind power generation, and electricity markets. In 2011, they joined Meinhardt as a Mechanical Engineer, responsible for air conditioning and mechanical ventilation design consultancy, as well as project coordination. From 2012-2017, they worked at Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC), first as a Research Programs Manager, then as a Project Manager, and finally as a Senior Research Engineer. In 2015, they co-founded Ampotech, where they currently serve as CEO. Ampotech develops internet of things (IoT) hardware and AI-enabled software to help businesses in the property and energy industries.
William G. Temple received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University from 2006 to 2010. William G. then went on to receive their Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University from 2010 to 2011.
