Silvia Palmieri

Silvia Palmieri has over 30 years of experience in various organizations. Silvia started their career in 1985 as a Secretary of Cardiology at Montefiore Hospital, where they worked for 1.5 years. Silvia then joined Adelphia in 1986 and worked there for 18 years as a Regional Client Services and Promotions Specialist, handling Cable TV Networks marketing promotions and programming, community outreach programs, and regional media promotions and client services for advertising and media executives. In 1996, they joined the AMPP as a Certification Community Development Program Specialist, and worked there till May 2021. Silvia'sresponsibilities included individual certification, program administration, and development and management of training materials. In 2005, they joined SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings as an Individual Certification Specialist, where they worked for 16 years until January 2021. Silvia'srole involved administering the Protective Coating Specialist, Master Coatings Inspector, and other Individual Certification processes. In 2021, they rejoined AMPP as an Individual Certification Specialist for a brief period of 5 months, before moving on.

Silvia Palmieri has a degree in Business Management with a field of study in Corporate Business Management from the Community College of Allegheny County. Silvia also completed a program in Technical, Sales/Management, Excellence in Customer Service from the National Cable Television Institute. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Business, Tech from Palm Beach Community College. Silvia also attended Adelphia University from 1998 to 2001, where they studied Management/Training and Techniques, but did not obtain a degree. In 1997, they enrolled in Palm Beach Community College once again, pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management, General, and is yet to graduate. In May 2023, Silvia completed the Credentialing Specialist Certificate program offered by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.
