Jin (Claire) Yan is a seasoned battery engineer with extensive experience in advanced energy storage technologies, currently serving as a Senior Staff Battery Engineer at Amprius Technologies, Inc. since April 2025. Previously, Jin held key engineering roles at Sila Nanotechnologies, Inc. and Nanoramic, Inc., focusing on the development and design of innovative battery solutions, including binder-free electrodes and pilot line construction for lithium-ion capacitors. Experience also includes product development of super-capacitors at General Capacitor and research positions at Florida State University and the Institute of Physics & Beijing National Lab for Condensed Matter Physics. Jin holds a PhD in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from Florida State University and a BS in Applied Physics from Nankai University.
