David Jackson

David Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer at AmpUp. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Wellwind, LLC and as an Investor and Member at E8 Angels.

Before these positions, David had a long tenure at Amazon, where they held various leadership roles. David served as the Director of Alexa Smart Home, leading the strategy, development, and launch of innovative features such as the Alexa Energy Dashboard. David also served as the Director of Consumables Germany, overseeing all aspects of the business including customer experience, marketing, vendor management, inventory management, and pricing. Additionally, David led the rollout of Amazon retail expansion into Mexico as the Director of International Expansion. David also served as the Category Leader for Canada Media, managing marketing, merchandising, vendor management, inventory management, pricing, and the 3rd Party Marketplace. Before that, they worked as the Sr. Manager of US Books, where they negotiated cost savings and improved inventory availability. David also led the launch of "Release Day Delivery" for new books.

Prior to joining Amazon, David worked at Arzoon.com as the Director of Application Development, where they managed and developed features for a distributed logistics and supply chain application. David also gained experience as an Associate Software Engineer at Cambridge Technology Partners, specializing in financial services and equity trading applications.
