Karin Örarbäck has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 1995, they began their career as a member of the Swedish Alpine National Team under Svenska Skidförbundet. From 2001 to 2010, they worked as a Professional Ski Cross Athlete for Salomon. In 2007, they became an Ambassador for the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, a role they held until 2012. During this time, they also started their own distribution business for POC in Austria and expanded it to other European markets. From 2009 to 2012, Karin served as the FIS Athlete Representative for Freestyle Skiing, acting as a liaison between athletes and stakeholders in the alpine World Cup. In 2012, they worked as a Co-Commentator for Ski Cross races at Puls4 Pro Sieben Austria. In 2020, they became the Marketing Manager for Europe at CAKE – ridecake.com, and in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer at AMRAX.
Karin Örarbäck began their education by completing their Matura (equivalent to A level) at Abendgymnasium Adolf-Pichler Platz in Innsbruck. Karin then pursued Business Studies at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they attended the Higher Vocational School for Economics from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Media Design and Communication. From 2003 to 2008, Karin completed a Diploma Program in Media Education and Communication Culture at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Karin'smost recent educational endeavor was an Executive MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics, which they completed from 2018 to 2020 at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®.
