Andy Bell

Andy Bell is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and design, currently serving as the Sustainability Theme Lead and Design Strategy Manager at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) since April 2008. With a strong background in design management, Andy has progressed from a Senior Project Manager focused on research in design theory to Project Engineer providing advanced manufacturing technology solutions at Smiths Aerospace Mech Systems between October 2006 and April 2008. Prior experience includes a role as Development Engineer at Wheelabrator Group, where Andy led new product development for abrasive wheel products. Andy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Sciences from Cranfield University, as well as an MSc in Engineering Design and Its Management from The University of Huddersfield, and a BEng in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Leeds.
