Tim Swait is currently the Director at Avian Hang Gliders and a Technical Fellow at the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing. They previously served as a Technical Lead and Research Engineer at the AMRC, focusing on advanced curing technology within the Composite Centre from 2013 to 2023. Tim gained experience as a Praktikant at Airbus in 2004 and worked as a Research Associate at the University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2012. Tim holds both an MEng and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield, earned between 2001 and 2009.
