Tom McCready

Tom McCready has extensive experience in engineering and operations management, particularly in the machining sector. Currently serving as the Head of the Machining Group at AMRC since May 2013, Tom has held various other roles within the same organization, including Engineering and Operations Manager and Aerofoils Technical Fellow. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Mechanical Engineer at ESG Rail for a brief period in early 2013 and gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer at AMRC from 2010 to 2012. Tom's early career included a role at GKN Aerospace in the transparencies section during the summer of 2009. Tom holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield, earned between 2006 and 2010, and completed secondary education at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys from 2000 to 2006.
