Bill Cukr

Bill Cukr is the current Chief Financial Officer at Amres. Bill has held this position since March of 2020. Prior to their current role, Bill was the Chief Financial Officer at Guardian Mortgage Company, Inc. from August 2016 to March 2020. Before that, they were the Senior Director at Capital One Home Loans from September 2014 to July 2016. Bill's previous role was as Senior Vice President at Caliber Home Loans from March 2009 to July 2011.

In their current role as Chief Financial Officer at Amres, Bill is responsible for Business Planning & Strategy, Operational excellence for the day to day mortgage business, Operational Metrics / performance management, GAAP / Financial reporting, Margin Management, Treasury functions/warehouse lines, Cash Flow management, Financial Planning (FP&A), and Compensation planning & administration.

At Guardian Mortgage Company, Inc., Bill was responsible for Business Planning & Strategy, Operational excellence for the day to day mortgage business, Operational Metrics / performance management, GAAP / Financial reporting, Margin Management, Treasury functions/warehouse lines, Cash Flow management, Financial Planning (FP&A), and Compensation planning & administration.

As Senior Director at Capital One Home Loans, Bill was responsible for providing experience to engineer Capital One’s mortgage market share enhancement in the mortgage business line. Bill was involved in all facets of business from origination through servicing. Bill's responsibilities included Mortgage Strategic Planning, Operational Metrics / performance management, Financial Planning (FP&A), Compensation planning & administration: Third Party Management (mortgage), CRA and affordable lending, Project management, CCAR regulatory stress testing - mortgage, and MIS reporting for compliance, finance and operations.

As Senior Vice President at Caliber Home Loans from March 2009 to July 2011, Bill was responsible for all aspects of the company's mortgage origination business. This included Retail Production, Wholesale Production, Consumer Direct Production and Correspondent Lending.

Bill Cukr's educational career includes an MBA in finance from Texas Christian University, a BComm in accounting and economics from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and a certification from the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta in CPA.

Bill Cukr reports to Mark Wilson, CEO/President at Amres Corporation. They are on a team with Deron Witmer - Chief Information Officer, Michael Wilson - Chief Marketing Officer, and Darin Judis - EVP Chief Lending Officer.
