Michael Ryan

Michael Ryan has held various roles in the insurance industry throughout their career. Michael began as an Insurance Agent at Fawcett & Associates in 1985 and then moved on to The Hartford, where they worked as a Property & Package Underwriting Supervisor from 1987 to 1993. Ryan then joined AIG as a Property Underwriting Manager before transitioning to Repath McAuley Woods LLC, where they served as Vice President, Broker. In 2008, Ryan returned to AIG as the Branch Property Underwriting Manager. Michael later joined Everest National Insurance Company as a Regional Vice President from 2014 to 2016. Ryan then worked as an Underwriting Director - Specialty Property at Rockhill Insurance Group from 2016 to 2018. Michael then joined URSA Group, LLC as an Executive Vice President before their current role as SVP, Team Manager - Technical Risk Underwriting Division at Waypoint Wholesale division of AmRisc, which they started in July 2019.

Michael Ryan completed their Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Marketing at Aquinas College - Grand Rapids from 1980 to 1984. Michael also holds additional certifications including Developing Executive Presence from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2021, Certified Risk Manager from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, obtained in July 2015, and Certified Insurance Counselor also from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, obtained in October 2009.
