Nico Scheper has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Nico started their career in 2003 as a Project Manager and Management Consultant, where they successfully managed various telecom projects such as the conversion of network country codes, currency exchange conversions, and the deployment of a 3G network. In 2003, they became the Managing Director and owner of AGAYA NV, where they continued to contribute to the development of the internet in Curacao and the region through active participation in conferences and forums as a speaker and panelist.
In 2008, Nico joined AMS-IX as a Senior Business Developer, utilizing their expertise to drive business growth. Nico also served as the Managing Director of the Caribbean Internet Exchange, leading the deployment of internet infrastructure in the region.
