Peter Kaps

Peter Kaps is the Head of Plant Quality Management at ams OSRAM since January 2023, bringing extensive experience from OSRAM where roles included Supplier Quality Professional and Supplier Quality Manager, focusing on automotive and lighting solutions. Responsibilities encompassed supplier quality management, team leadership in goods receipt inspections, qualifications through PPAP, claim management, 8D reporting, and conducting supplier audits per VDA 6.3. Additionally, Peter contributed as a Technical Project Manager in professional lighting and as a Mechanical Design Engineer, involved in the design of automated production lines and project management for international equipment relocations. Peter Kaps holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, completed in 2004.
