Tilman Eckert

Tilman Eckert is a seasoned professional in electrical engineering, currently serving as the Senior Director and Global Head of Systems Engineering and Test at ams OSRAM since July 2022. In this role, Tilman leads critical activities related to systems engineering, ASIC development, and product verification, including test roadmapping and mass production test system roll-outs in Asia. Prior to this, Tilman was with Osram Opto Semiconductors for over a decade, where responsibilities ranged from establishing a new systems engineering department to managing various teams focused on technology development and product innovation across multiple business lines. Academic qualifications include a Dr. Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, complemented by a Diplom-Ingenieurin and international exposure through studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
