Won J.

Won J. is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in GaN-based epitaxy development and production for various applications, including LEDs and power devices. They held significant roles at companies such as Samsung Electro-Mechanics, LG Innotek, and Veeco, where they focused on project leadership and technology transfer to mass production. At LG Innotek, Won J. led projects on micro-pixel LEDs and UV-C LEDs while also achieving notable advancements in high-efficiency white LEDs. They earned a Master’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from 한양대학교 in 1995, following a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution in 1993. Currently, Won J. works as a Development Engineer at ams OSRAM.
