Peter Hansen

Peter Hansen is a senior manager in product engineering at AMSC, specializing in sustaining engineering for DVAR and VVO products since July 2014. Prior experience includes roles as a senior principal mechanical packaging engineer, lead mechanical engineer at Premium Power Corporation focusing on flow batteries, and lead engineer in electro-mechanical packaging at Vestas, where Peter contributed to offshore wind turbine generators. Peter's background also includes research on reliability assessment and thermal management at the University of Maryland, consulting at Teknologisk Institut, and thermal expertise at Grundfos A/S. Education encompasses a Master’s degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from Aalborg University.
