Erik van Dijk

Erik van Dijk is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at AMST-Aviation since June 2018, Erik leads a team of 10-15 members, overseeing strategic business planning, budget management, and employee appraisals. As a Product Owner, Erik has been instrumental in the development of Flight Simulation Training Devices. Prior roles include Software Consultant at ATG Europe, Software Development Team Lead at Simteq B.V., and Technical Team Lead at Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training. Erik's academic background includes a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, with a specialization in control, estimation, and simulation. Erik's contributions extend to practical engineering projects during studies, including developing a tire grip estimator for Audi Sport's Le Mans team and support roles during internships at Lockheed Martin.
