Bert Jeene

Bert Jeene has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including serving as the Chair of the Supervisory Board at Openbare Bibliotheek Gelderland Zuid since 2020. They were previously a council member for the City of Nijmegen from 2010 to 2014 and have contributed to several other organizations, such as Stichting Het Dorp and Mooiland, in financial oversight roles. Jeene also worked as an organization consultant at Thomassen & Drijver Verblifa and the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning in the early 1980s. They hold a Kanidaatsdiploma in General Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master’s degree from the Interuniversity Institute for Business Administration in Delft.
