Mitchell V.

Mitchell V. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mitchell started their career as a Promostudent at Avans Hogeschool in 2017, where they worked until 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Supervisor at Vue Cinemas NL from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, Mitchell founded their own company called 2Re-use, which focused on offering affordable Apple devices and personalized services.

In 2020, Mitchell joined Holland Security Group_NL as a Beveiliger. Mitchell then moved into the field of information security and worked as a Business Consultant Cybersecurity & Compliance and a Stagiair Cybersecurity & Compliance at Ordina from 2022 to 2023. Mitchell also held several information security roles at government organizations such as Gemeente Den Haag, Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid, and Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal. Mitchell worked as an Information Security Officer at Gemeente Den Haag and Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal, and as a Projectleider at Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid. Mitchell was also an Information Security Consultant at Gemeente Katwijk.

Currently, Mitchell is serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Amsta, a position they started in 2023.

Mitchell V. completed their Master's degree in Besturen van Veiligheid at Radboud University from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Pre-master degree in Bestuurskunde at the same university from 2020 to 2021. Mitchell holds a Bachelor's degree in Integrale Veiligheid from Avans University of Applied Sciences, obtained from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Mitchell V. completed a MBO degree in Beveiliger from LOI in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, they attended the Politieacademie and completed a Minor Veiligheid en Crisisbeheersing. Mitchell V. has also obtained certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) from Microsoft, both in 2023.
