Chad Porter has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the healthcare and IT industries. Chad is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at AMSURG since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Interim Vice President of AMSURG IT and Vice President of Analytics and BI at the same company. Before joining AMSURG, Chad held positions at InfoWorks, Inc. as a Senior Consultant, LifePoint Health® as a Senior Director of Enterprise Data Management & Strategy and Director of Decision Support, HCA Shared Services Group as a System Administrator - Case Management, HCA as a Senior Business Analyst, Emdeon Business Services as an EDI Implementations Analyst, and Avega Health Systems as a Help Desk Consultant II.

Chad Porter completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Western Kentucky University, where they attended from 1994 to 1999.
