Ashley (James) Smith serves as the Deputy General Counsel at Amtrak and is the Founder of AGSports. Previously, Ashley held various leadership roles at Lime, including Director for North America, South America, and Asia-Pacific, and was instrumental in establishing global employment policies as the first global employment lawyer. Prior to Lime, Ashley worked at Facebook as Associate General Counsel for Labor & Employment and served as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where expertise included a wide range of employment and labor law issues. Ashley's legal career began at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Howard University School of Law and a BA in Sociology from DePaul University.
