Barbara Wu

Barbara Wu, PHR, SHRM-CP, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. Since July 2015, Barbara has been self-employed after a long tenure at Amtrak, where employment began in June 1980. At Amtrak, Barbara held various roles, including Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Advisor, focusing on staffing and recruitment as an HR generalist, as well as serving as an HR Officer in a similar capacity. Barbara’s Amtrak career commenced as a Food Specialist, progressing through various clerk positions in the Seattle area. Barbara holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Spanish, with a minor in Speech Communication from the University of Washington, completed between 1978 and 1983.
