Bert Wescott

Bert Wescott has extensive experience in civil and track engineering, holding notable positions at Amtrak since February 2016, including Deputy Chief Engineer, Track, and Director Engineering, Track Design and Layout, where responsibilities encompass overseeing track design and alignment, coordinating with various engineering groups, and maintaining design specifications. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager at The Burns Group, focusing on railroad and transit infrastructure, and Senior Civil Engineer at both Klein and Hoffman and Hunt Engineering Company. Wescott has a foundational background as a Track Engineer at Consolidated Rail Corporation and has held earlier positions in structural engineering and industrial testing. Wescott earned an M.S. and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
