Charles E. Jones

Charles E. Jones is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and environmental engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Amtrak since May 2019, Charles also holds the position of President at The Jones Group, a Service Disabled Veteran and minority-owned Design/Build firm founded by Charles E. Jones in July 2008. Previously, Charles has held roles as Program Manager at ADC Management Solutions and Tyco Integrated Security, where management of over 15 design/build projects for the IRS was a key responsibility. Charles E. Jones also served as Vice President of Environmental Engineering at McKissack & McKissack, overseeing significant environmental design and construction projects. Early career experiences include Project Manager at United Water and Engineer at MWH, Inc. Charles E. Jones holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Howard University.
