Chase Kitchen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs and policy advising. Currently serving as the Government Affairs Manager at Amtrak since April 2022, Chase supports intercity passenger rail development in the northwestern United States and British Columbia, Canada. Previously, as a Policy Advisor in the Mayor's Office for the City of Seattle from April 2019 to January 2022, Chase coordinated the city’s policy initiatives across various sectors including climate, sustainability, and economic development. Chase’s earlier roles include serving as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Joe Donnelly in the United States Senate from January 2013 to January 2019, and for Congressman Joe Donnelly in the U.S. House of Representatives from May 2011 to December 2012, where responsibilities encompassed a broad range of legislative issues including agriculture, energy, and transportation. Chase holds a Master of Liberal Arts from St. John's College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
