Christopher Perry

Christopher Perry currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Amtrak, specializing in commercial and regulatory litigation since June 2022. Prior to this role, Perry held various positions within the U.S. Department of Transportation, including Senior Trial Attorney and Acting Deputy Assistant General Counsel for Litigation and Enforcement. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Chief Counsel for Litigation and Enforcement at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Associate Attorney positions at JONES DAY® and Winston & Strawn LLP. Perry began legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
