Gary Israelson has over 35 years of experience in rail operations and transportation management and currently serves as the AVP Southwest Division at Amtrak, where they optimize passenger rail transportation and commuter services. Previously, they have held various positions at Amtrak including Superintendent of Operations for the Central Region and Assistant Superintendent for West Operations, as well as experience as a Tower Operator/Agent at EJ& E/CP Rail. They are pursuing an Associate's degree in Accounting from Joliet Junior College. With a strong commitment to enhancing operational efficiency, they align their mission with Amtrak’s dedication to safe and reliable rail solutions.
