Geoff Nelson

Technical Lead

Geoff Nelson has extensive experience in technical leadership and project management, currently serving as a Technical Lead at Amtrak since July 2001, where responsibilities include leading projects from requirements to implementation, developing multi-channel solutions, and providing customer support throughout the project lifecycle. Prior to Amtrak, Geoff worked as an Event Manager for One Brick, overseeing volunteer events and training staff, and as a Programmer/Analyst at Worldspan, where mentorship and timely project completion were key contributions. Earlier roles include Electronics Supervisor at Officemax, Technical Support Analyst at America Online, and Computer Lab Technician at Missouri Western State University. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from Missouri Western State University, earned between 1994 and 1998.
