Jay McArthur

Jay McArthur is currently the Principal Officer State Partnerships at Amtrak, overseeing client management and contract negotiations. They have held various roles at Amtrak since 1984, including General Manager of Operations and Superintendent of Operations, focusing on train movement, federal regulations, and employee oversight. Prior to Amtrak, Jay worked at Seaboard Coastline Railroad as a Conductor and Yardmaster from 1978 to 1984. They also served as Product Director for North Carolina Services at Amtrak from 1996 to 2003, emphasizing product development and improvement.
