Jed Poster

Jed Poster currently serves as the Senior Director of High-Speed Rail at Amtrak, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jed was the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority from December 2018 to October 2023, where leadership of an internal strategy team focused on enhancing the agency's operational effectiveness. Jed's experience in customer experience leadership at New York City Transit emphasized building relationships to prioritize a customer-centered approach in transit operations. Additionally, in advisory roles at WSP USA and AKRF, Inc., Jed guided clients through complex regulatory landscapes and contributed to significant urban planning projects. Educationally, Jed holds a Master's degree in City & Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Middle East Studies from Middlebury College.
