Joanne Maxwell

Joanne Maxwell is the Director of Environmental Programs at Amtrak, where they develop and implement corporate-wide Environmental Management Systems incorporating ISO 14001 elements. They have extensive experience in environmental, health, and safety management across various industries, including railroad and food and beverage production. Previously, Joanne held positions as a Senior EH&S Specialist at Lockheed Martin, Senior Project Manager at ERM, and EHS & Quality System Manager at Purolite, among others. They received a B.S. in Biology from Bucknell University and are currently pursuing an M.S. in Water Resources Engineering at Villanova University.
