John Barrett

John Barrett has extensive experience in the rail industry, currently serving as Metrolink General Manager - Superintendent III at Amtrak since January 2019. Prior roles at Amtrak include Superintendent Operations III, Superintendent Operations II, and Assistant Superintendent of Operations, all focused on Metrolink Commuter Operations. Prior to joining Amtrak, John Barrett worked for Norfolk Southern Corporation from September 1999 to January 2019, where positions included Road Foreman of Engines and Sr Rail Operations Manager - LE. John Barrett holds a degree from Ashford University.
