John Busbee has extensive experience in both the transportation and media industries. Currently serving as the On Board Services Manager for Amtrak's California Zephyr since May 1988, John oversees the on board service staff for this iconic train route between Chicago and the San Francisco Bay area. Previous roles include News Director and Morning Show Host at WWBF Radio, Master Control Engineer at WBFS-TV, Master Control Supervisor/Director at WATL-TV, and Master Control Engineer at CNN during the startup of CNN2/Headline News. John began a career in media at the young age of 15 as an Announcer and Morning Show Host at WOKE Radio. John holds a degree from the University of Miami.
