John Rowan

John Rowan has over four decades of experience in the rail industry, currently serving as a Senior Engineer Track at Amtrak since June 2019. Prior to this role, John spent 40 years at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), holding various positions including Director of Maintenance Track Engineering and Support, and Assistant Director of Track Construction, Maintenance and Inspection. John’s early career at SEPTA involved roles such as M&W Supervisor and Construction Equipment Operator 1st Class. John earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from Community College of Philadelphia between 1989 and 1994.
