Lanhee Chen

Lanhee Chen is a Senior Fellow (Non-Resident) at the Weidenbaum Center at WashU since 2025, and has served as Director of Domestic Policy Studies and Lecturer in Public Policy at Stanford University since 2013. They are also a David and Diane Steffy Fellow in American Public Policy Studies at the Hoover Institution, and a member of the Board of Directors for both El Camino Health and Amtrak. In addition, Chen is an NBC News Contributor and a Partner at Brunswick Group, co-leading U.S. Public Affairs, Policy, and Regulatory efforts, while contributing opinion pieces to the Los Angeles Times. Chen holds a degree from Harvard University, which they completed in 2009.
