Mariah Morales

Mariah Morales currently serves as the Director of Government Affairs at Amtrak, where responsibilities include advancing policy and funding goals to enhance passenger train services through collaboration with federal, state, and local partners. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Federal Relations at CHG and Associates, focusing on federal policy and planning for transportation agencies, and as a consultant for various projects, including TIGER Grant Applications and land use planning. A background in public relations and operations management is highlighted by past positions with Holland America Line and Skagway Streetcar Company. Mariah holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School at Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Portland State University.
