Michael Valacer

Michael Valacer, CISM, CRISC, currently serves as the Director of Digital Technology Audit at Amtrak, where responsibilities include developing the annual IT Audit plan and managing IT audit engagements. Previously, Michael held positions such as IT Assurance Manager at Health New England, IT Senior Audit Manager at Wells Fargo, and SVP Information Technology Operational Risk Management at Citizens Bank. With extensive experience in IT risk management and audit, Michael has successfully led initiatives in compliance and governance across various organizations, including BNY Mellon and SNL Financial. Academic credentials include an MBA in Strategic Leadership from the University of Richmond and a B.S. in Accounting and Computer Science from Southern New Hampshire University.
