Robert Eaton is an experienced professional in government affairs, currently serving as Senior Director of Government Affairs for Amtrak since November 2010, where Robert leads a national team engaging with state and local elected officials and Congressional field staff on passenger rail legislative issues. Previously, Robert held the position of Director of Government Affairs in the same department at Amtrak and served as Director of Government Affairs and State Supported Service for the City of Leavenworth, WA, from January 2008 to July 2011. Robert also has a background in public service as a former Mayor. Robert holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University at Buffalo and a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
