Scott M. Trefren

Scott M. Trefren is an experienced project and program manager with a strong background in IT and technology implementation. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Amtrak since November 2020, Scott has previously held senior management roles at AVER, LLC and The Ambit Group, where support was provided for various IT projects within federal agencies. Scott's extensive experience includes managing enterprise-level IT projects at the US Patent and Trademark Office and leading a data warehouse program at the Office of Personnel Management. Scott holds an MBA in Operations and Technology Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of the Southwest.
